Still messing around with my new home studio set up, and using some lighting recommendations from a friend, I took a few new self portraits...hoping to do some more later.

This weekend I spent some time with my friend Abbie (visit her DIY blog at http://www.stylinghepburn.com/). She needed some photos done for her blog, and in turn we ended up spending the afternoon playing with a new backdrop and my new lighting equipment. Here are the results.

It's been a while...

Wow, I hadn't realized it was coming up on a year since I last posted any photos...I should probably do better about that. Today's post is from a BBQ I went to this weekend. I was lucky to get some good shots, both of the crowd around the fire and a few long exposures. It was fortunately in the middle of the country, so light pollution was very low.
